Clinicians

tri products clinicians

Our scientists and solutions team develop practical, time- and cost-saving tools to help clinicians:

  • Conduct comprehensive, valid assessments of clients
  • Develop thorough, focused treatment plans
  • Link clients to appropriate services
  • Track clients and appropriately intervene throughout the continuum of their recovery
  • Conduct effective individual and group therapy sessions

It is a priority to develop tools that turn “paperwork” and required data collection into useful, high quality clinical information that can be used to evaluate and continually expand the effectiveness of counselors and programs.

DENS ASI®

The DENS ASI Software is a vehicle for administering the ASI, the most widely used substance abuse assessment instrument in the world. This easy to use, easy to learn software program automates the ASI through an intuitive, time-saving interface. The DENS ASI software uses the same structured format as the original ASI instrument, ensuring questions are posed in the intended order. With the click of a button, interviewers can administer either the complete Baseline ASI interview, the ASI-Lite, as well as a follow-up ASI interview.

Recovery Track®

RecoveryTrack is a technology-enabled system that can, with minimal training, assist counselors in tracking client progress through treatment, using results to individualize care and work directly with clients to discuss their progress. The highly secure and simple-to-use RecoveryTrack also helps managers accumulate the data they need to document services, justifying their funding to those above them.

RoadMAP Toolkit™

The RoadMAP Toolkit cost-effectively harnesses the innate skills of treatment counselors to deliver an evidence-based Relapse Prevention intervention to clients in group counseling. It employs a “learning by teaching” approach by distilling the essentials of this evidence-based practice into six content modules, each accompanied by multiple tools that can be flexibly “mixed or matched” by clinicians, including a client video, eye-catching posters, patient worksheets, and other multi-media techniques for engaging clients. Each module is designed to be used “off-the-shelf” and requires only brief training to master.

Open Doorways Toolkit™

The Open Doorways Toolkit harnesses the innate skills of treatment counselors to deliver an evidence-based 12-Step Facilitation intervention to clients in group counseling. The toolkit is research-based and tested in substance abuse treatment programs, and is specifically designed to be used “off-the-shelf” to actively engage group members in discussions and activities related to 12-Step with minimal counselor training or supervisions. The strategies presented in the toolkit are designed to be easily employed by counselors regardless of their experience level with the 12-Step programs.

CASPAR-C™

The CASPAR-C (Computer-Assisted System for Patient Assessment and Referral) software helps program staff build an agency-specific resource guide listing no- and low-cost services within the community that they can refer clients to, to address problems identified during assessment. The software helps treatment programs get started with problem-services matching by creating an electronic database of locally available services their patients may need to improve prospects for recovery.
